Private jet charter and flights to the Philippines

Sink into soft white sand beaches and dip your feet into crystal-clear waters as you explore the 7,641 islands that make up the Philippines. This vast Pacific archipelago off the coast of Vietnam has a rich history and was ruled by Spain from 1565 to 1898, and then by America until 1946, when the country officially received independence. A favourite destination for its glistening coastline, delicious seafood and friendly locals, the Philippines offers numerous islands and resorts for visitors to choose from. The country can be divided into four parts: Luzon in the north; the Visayas, which make up the central Philippines; and Mindanao and Palawan in the south.

The northern province of Luzon is the largest and most populated island, home to capital city Manila. The country’s rich history and mixed ancestry are reflected in the city’s varied cuisine, with top Spanish and Japanese fine dining restaurants that are well worth a visit. Discover beautiful Spanish colonial and baroque architecture including Fort Santiago, San Agustin Church and San Sebastian Church, and learn more about the Philippines’ Spanish colonial rule at Casa Manila Museum.

The Visayas Islands constitute central Philippines. The main islands are Boracay, Bohol, Cebu, Negros and Ponay. Boracay is a reasonably developed island, boasting luxury hotels, excellent restaurants and nightlife while maintaining its natural beauty with coconut palm-lined shores and unspoilt beaches. Bohol is another idyllic island, famous for its distinctive Chocolate Hills whose grass turns chocolate brown at the end of the dry season. Here you can see the tiny Philippine tarsiers – an adorable species of primate that is unique to the country. Head to the famous white sands of Alona Beach, where you can scuba dive at a house reef teeming with coral and colourful fish.

The island of Malapasqua, considered part of Cebu, is famous for its resident thresher sharks and is a top destination for snorkelling and scuba diving. Oslob is another popular diving resort, where divers can swim with whale sharks. The remote Kalanggaman Island is one of the Visayas’ hidden treasures, known for its mile-long sand bar.

The region of Palawan in the south is home to Coron and El Nido. Coron, at the very northern tip of Palawan, is a much-desired destination, with tall limestone cliffs and bright blue lakes. Island-hopping boat trips are a great way to explore, while you’ll also find a hot spring (a favourite viewing point for sunsets) and an offshore Japanese shipwreck which is popular with divers. El Nido has a similar landscape to Coron, but less tourists. From El Nido, it’s a 45-minute drive to Nacpan Beach – an extremely beautiful stretch of sand with only basic accommodation.

The southern Mindanao province is home to the island of Siargao, with the famous Cloud 9 surfing beach and an extensive spread of lush mangrove forests. Midrange accommodation caters to the surfing crowd, but there are a couple of five-star options offering waterfront bungalows and villas with 24-hour butler service.

Just on the border with Malaysia in the Sulu Sea lie the Turtle Islands, where green sea turtles can be seen nesting from August to December.

The Philippines is home to a range of international and domestic airports, such as Ninoy Aquino International Airport and Bacolod-Silay Airport. Simply contact our team and we’ll arrange everything you need to charter a private jet to the Philippines.
