Nimes Airport, referred to as Nîmes–Alès–Camargue–Cévennes Airport, is a regional airport in France. The airport is a commercial base for low-cost carrier Ryanair but it also serves as a naval air base. Nîmes–Alès–Camargue–Cévennes Airport serves the city of Nimes in southern France, often referred to as the Rome of France due to its range of ancient architecture. It has one paved runway and a passenger terminal which provides a range of essential facilities. The airport accepts private charters, however landing and handling fees apply at the airport. Car rental services are available at the airport and shuttle services are on offer between the airport and local train station in Nimes.
