Leading aircraft charter company, Air Charter Service, is really in the festive spirit following its London HQ’s Christmas party which raised almost £7,500 ($11,200) for the company’s chosen charities.

The Christmas party was held at Raven’s Ait, an island in the middle of the River Thames. With prizes such as an Apple Watch, lunch on the Orient Express and a trip to Iceland to see the Northern Lights donated by generous operators as raffle prizes, sales of tickets resulted in a total figure of £7,390 raised on the night.

A very different side was seen to the Board of Directors in the photo booth at the venue and other entertainment included dancers, fire performers, a contortionist and a magician to entertain the crowd of more than 200, made up of ACS staff and their partners.

Tina Leach, head of the company’s Charity Committee commented: “It really has been a fantastic month for ACS’s fundraising. Our charities for this year are Save The Children, Macmillan Cancer Trust and the Dysart School so, combined with the rest of our philanthropic work this year, they will all receive a sizeable donation.”
