Founded in 1971, the World Economic Forum is an assembly of 2,500 of the world’s most rich and powerful from over 100 countries who share one core objective: to pledge renewed commitment to international collaboration as a means to solving critical global challenges. This ambitious goal can only be achieved through multinational co-design, co-creation and cooperation. A role that has already sparked protests of outrage in Switzerland. Also in attendance will be Secretary-General of the United Nations, Antonio Guterres, President of International Committee of the Red Cross, Peter Maurer and Wikipedia founder Jimmy Wales.

Following each day of intense and proactive talks are extravagant and illustrious corporate parties Davos has gained a reputation for hosting luxurious parties where only the finest Champagne is sipped, and Michelin-star prepared canapés are nibbled on. Many of these functions can cost in excess of seven figures. Not to mention world class performances from musical legends each year, 2018’s guest being none other than grammy-award winner Elton John.
