Flying a couple between remote safari lodges
A travel agent asked our team in Johannesburg for help arranging a twin-centre African safari for a couple from the United States. The pair were staying at remote lodges in South Africa and neighbouring Botswana, wanting to transfer between the two as quickly as possible to maximise their time on the ground. With this in mind, we set about planning a seamless point-to-point transfer by private jet.
Our Solution
Routes: Londolozi Private Game Reserve > Kruger > Maun > Xigera Safari Lodge
Aircraft: Beechcraft King Air 200
Reaching out to local operators, our experts arranged the charter of a spacious twin-engine turboprop that could land on the rugged airstrip at each lodge with ease.
Navigating customs and immigration clearance in South Africa and Botswana, we routed the flight through airports on either side of the border to facilitate the necessary checks.
The charter ran smoothly from start to finish, getting the passengers to their safari lodge in Botswana as quickly and conveniently as possible.
