While the Masters Tournament is definitely the main event, Augusta will be a golfer’s paradise for those six days. Make your bookings well in advance to reserve your accommodation, airstrip space, and most importantly, a spot to spectate from on the greens. If you’ve missed all the hotel bookings, try your luck at renting a local house through the Masters Housing Bureau.
Fill up on a hearty breakfast at the Finch and Fifth at Surrey Center, and enjoy authentic Southern food at the end of the day at Honey from the Rock Café. In the evenings make sure you don’t miss live music at the Rock Fore! Dough and late night shopping during First Friday. If the Masters has got you itching to get stuck into a game on the greens, head to the River Golf Club.

Keep an eye out for Wentworth’s official hospitality packages for yourself and your company, as these include fine food and drink, personal service, a complimentary bar, and reserved seating on the West Course’s famous final green, so you can see the drama of the tournament’s conclusion from the best seat of the house.
U.S. Open
Date: 16-19 June
Location: Oakmont Country Club, Plum, Pennsylvania
Purse:$10,000,000
Ticket Cost: $400 (Gallery Championship Round Package)

Oakmont is fondly referred to by golfing pros as one of the best tests of championship golf in the USA. This is probably why it has seen more majors than any other US golf course. Since the last time it hosted the U.S. Open eight years ago, however, a concerted effort has been put into restoring it to its original look.
The removal of the 15,000 trees lining the railroad bank has also opened the course up for both perilous winds and a spectacular vista from the clubhouse, with every hole in sight, making it ideal to watch U.S. Open Champion Jordan Spieth defend his title. The round package ticket will get you free reign to walk the greens, but corporate table, suite and tent options are available to those who want to make an event of it.

“Tucked away along the inland foothills of the Santa Cruz Mountains in a California wine region, the spectacular location of CordeValle lies just 30 minutes south of San Jose, and 45 minutes north of Pebble Beach. Southern California boasts mild temperatures all year round and the days are most often balmy, so it’s best to dress in layers – ensuring comfort in all conditions.”
