The quickest route to the slopes is via the Chantarella funicular, which is just a seven-minute walk from the apartment. The short ride takes skiers directly to the Corviglia ski area, where they can explore over 150km of slopes. The apartment itself has three stylish bedrooms – a master suite with lake views and doors out onto the terrace, and two cosy doubles, each with its own en-suite bathroom.

The living area features floor-to-ceiling windows to make the most of the view, along with a large dining table and comfy lounge with a TV and a fireplace. On sunny afternoons and starlit nights, the terrace is the place to be, with its fresh mountain air and unspoilt views. There’s also a fully equipped kitchen, though you can leave all the cooking to your private chef.

For early risers, the first run of the day down a pristine piste is hard to beat. At over 3,000m, Piz Nair is the perfect place to start the day with 100km of World-Cup quality runs and the 30-obstacle Corviglia Snow Park. Those in search of a more laidback day should opt instead for the 3km Paradiso piste, which is also home to the world’s first yoga on the snow experience.

As one of the first places to put winter sports on the map, St. Moritz has played host to everyone from winter Olympians to Coco Chanel, and the town still oozes classic sporting style. Apartment Cotschna is just 100m from the main shopping street, where you’ll find flagship fashion stores and quirky boutiques, skiwear outlets and speciality food shops. And when the sun starts to dip below the horizon, the town lights up with everything from cosy spots serving spicy vin chaud to all-night cocktail bars and clubs.
