Private Jet Charter to Boao Forum

April marks the return of the Boao Forum for Asia (BFA). Charter a private jet to Boao and meet with global leaders and business and academic luminaries.

The Boao Forum was initially proposed in 1998 by three former international statesmen in the region: Philippine ex-president Fidel V. Ramos, former Australian prime minister Bob Hawke and former Japanese prime minister Morihiro Hosokawa. BFA met for the first time on February 7, 2001, and since 2002 has been staged annually on various dates in the first quarter.

The BFA’s core aim is to promote and strengthen economic cooperation, both within Asia and between Asia and the rest of the world. 2018 marks the 40th anniversary of China opening up to economic development and this year’s event will involve 60 formal discussions with a heavy focus on the country’s economic reforms.

Boao inevitably attracts high-profile visitors from Asia and beyond, many of them chartering a private jet into the nearby Qionghai Bo'ao Airport. Approved delegates – for whom time really is money – can shave hours off the standard commercial airline route with a private charter. Instead of landing at Haikou Meilan International Airport – at least two hours by road from the exclusive conference venue – lighter, faster executive private jets can access Qionghai Bo'ao, which is a matter of minutes away from Boao.
